BIFI Workshop on Biological Calorimetry (BIFI-WBC)

This Workshop on Biological Calorimetry will cover from basic concepts and protocols (standard assay, main experimentally accessible information) to advanced applications and protocols in ITC (cooperativity, allostery, reverse assays, global data analysis, complex samples…) and DSC (non-two state unfolding equilibrium, unfolding of oligomeric macromolecules…).

Advantages and strengths, together with common misinterpretations, drawbacks and weaknesses in ITC and DSC will be reviewed and discussed within a participative approach.

Scope:

Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).
